Celebration Funeral March for Life to Kew Gardens

12:00 - 15:00 (UTC +01:00)

where

The Green, Richmond, TW9 1, United Kingdom

hosted by

Extinction Rebellion Richmond

We invite you to join us in our Celebration March for Life!

We will start with a die-in outside Barclays Bank in Richmond Town Centre, to draw attention to the harm caused to life by the fossil fuel industry and Barclays’ part in this. Then our funeral march, complete with coffin and slow music, will proceed to Kew Gardens, where we will hold a memorial service for those species that have become extinct as a result of human action. A letter to Kew Gardens will be delivered, acknowledging their work to preserve life and requesting they sever their ties to companies complicit in causing environmental harm. Following the service we will joyfully celebrate life on earth marching from Kew Gardens to Kew Green, and finish with a bring and share picnic, songs and games.
