Extinction Rebellion Cambridge
Gather for an hour of silence.
As the rebellion week builds, our stress and adrenaline may be rising. It is vital that we stay calm and connected to our inner well-being. Sometimes this means pausing the treadmill of activity and simply resting in silence. Coming together to do this can be a powerful experience, at this core central public space, where passers-by will see a beautiful and meaningful expression of our love for the earth and all life.
Everyone is welcome to join in solidarity for what it hoped to be a culmination of meditative regenerative protest throughout the week across the sites. All welcome whatever your ‘meditation experience’, for up to an hour of meditation (or simply silent reflection and contemplation) at Horse Guards Parade. Let’s fill the square!
Bring a cushion or chair if required.
This meditative action has been coordinated alongside Extinction Rebellion Buddhists in solidarity with their Daily Global Rebel Meditation (https://www.facebook.com/events/3007082426032905/).
